Maximize Your Child's Bilingual Ability by Adam Beck
The most practical book on the market for raising bilingual children.
University of Washington Institute for Learning and Brain Science Cutting edge research on how very young children learn. They offer free access to their research though online education modules. Modules 6 and Module 10 deal specifically with language development, and Module 11 deals with bilingual language development in the early years. Modules are also available in Spanish, Somali, and Vietnamese.
The Bilingual Brain by Arturo E. Hernández. A fascinating and scholarly read on the bilingual brain. This will take you to Amazon so you can see the cover, however it is a hard to find (and therefore expensive) book to purchase. I recommend checking it out from your local library.
